Also known as the Tomy Turnin’ Turbo Dashboard. Great.
Does your child want to experience the joys of driving? He does? Well tough tits – he’ll have to put up with this bizarre contraption instead.
Essentially a collection of dodgy mechanisms, the Racing Turbo features no racing and no meaningful turbo. It clunks, whirs and shudders like some kind of steampunk robot whilst looping a small drawing of a road in front of your child’s eyes. They can do little but move a steering wheel, which causes a picture of a red car to move about. There is no interaction. There is no joy. There is only whirring and clicking and disappointment.
Then it breaks.
Also! Introducing Failed Reviews! Where I talk about things I didn’t review for one reason or another. Like a PS3 controller charger, a fake DS LIte and a tiny little mobile phone that proved a little less than reliable.

"who needs a battery cover piece"
ah f** it.
**4 D Batteries drop out of bottom and on to big toe***
Looks like a Porsche badge mixed with a Fiat Abarth colors and logo..
Now we have Forza Horizon 4 And Gran Turismo Sport
Your negative sarcastic tone is really tiresome.
My older cousin had this and I loved playing with it everytime I went over.
The loop is literally 4 seconds long
Can't remember if I had one or if my friend had one… was a little bit of fun as I remember but then both of us got computers a bit later and this was not that exciting.
r.i.p. Forza and Gt.
Why so sarcastic
Someone put the headlight sticker on wrong… 🙁
I saw one of those controller stands for the xbox360
I had one in 1997 this one looks better though
this is 9 years old but when you quipped "lets take this baby out of neutral" couldnt help but smirk xD
I loved mine. One of my favourites.
've broken my toy already"
I'm pretty sure it was broken decades before you ever got hold of it.

"Oh dear, I've broken my toy already" that gave me a chuckle knowing a grown man said that. Not judging just thought it was slightly humorous.
I had a small crawling space right above my closet, used to climp up there with this game and enjoy some driving. I was 22. good times.
I had this as a kid! It was my favorite toy to bring with me in the car as a kid. I would pretend like I was driving the car.
Flight of the Navigator brought me here
the first "3D" game
used to have one when i was younger absolutely loved id
Lol I remember that toy , it was high tech toy back then
I’m used to own this as a kid and used to wonder what happened to it, my parents probably got rid of it from the noise haha
Mach Ma nen Ölwechsel du Inselaff
for some reason I remember another car appearing on the right hand side every now and then with a 3-4 light box animation. I also use to have a formula one game that was similar so maybe I'm getting the two mixed up.
Still higher fps than xbox one
I think u clean inside maybe it will work well
I remember seeing this in the Kays Catalogue and wanting it so very badly! Then I actually got to play one at a local Argos store before Christmas (they used to have a lot of things like this set up as demonstrators) – Needless to say after playing on it for about 30 seconds I quickly lost my desire for one!
I think the same Christmas I got stuff like Lego (light and sound and also technic kits) and also a Tomytronic 'Sky Attack' game from my brother… the Tomytronic thing was genuinely awesome and got played to death!
Well not literally to death, it's still in the loft and was still working when last tested a couple of years ago 🙂
I had a Playmates Corvette simulator it was very nosy and took 5 batteries size D I don't know what happened to it
"This message will self destruct", single use phone..
Who else saw the screen and at first thought this was a video game with a CRT monitor?
My wee brother had one and it was a great toy considering it was the mid/late 80s and he was about 6 years old at the time
I actually had one of these in the late 80s when I was 4 yrs old.
Oh, this is splendid. This was uploaded on my 33rd birthday. I was on the Greek island of Paros, about to become a Dad, proclaiming myself to be something Christ-like. Everyone good died at 33.
I always wanted this.
Hey girls might want to drive too!
Also to get away from daddy…
Completely forgot about this.
Stare into the subliminal for as long as you can. Ashens you cheeky bastard
I dunno, I'd say it simulates driving pretty well! Clunky controls, disconcerting noises, you can't go anywhere when you're out of gas, and if it breaks you have to do a cultist ritual (often involving violence) to get it going again! All it needs is a Jeep logo! X3
side note: This was one of the first toys I ever remember playing with, and I never knew why the car would stop… now my past 3 year old self finally has an answer.. Fuel!!

I didn't know this toy had a warp speed setting.
